Private coaching classes for debate and public speaking, meant for individuals of all ages and skill levels looking for individualized attention to improve.

From RM400/month, inclusive 4 weekly classes, 2 hours long per session. This class is targeted primarily at children between the ages of 9-14. This is a physical class held at our venue partner, HELP University’s ELM Business School.

Students will be introduced to the basics of speechcraft, covering the core elements of storytelling, rhetoric, structure and projection of confidence.

From RM400/month, inclusive 4 weekly online classes per month, 2 hours per session. This class is primarily targeted at children in high school above the age of 13 with little to no experience in parliamentary debate. It offers a gentle and approachable entry point into the world of persuasive speech.

The beginner debate class focuses on building the fundamentals of debate, building critical thinking skills, argumentative skills, basic case building and effective responses.

From RM450/month, inclusive 4 weekly online classes, 2 hours per session. This class is open to students of all ages, including varsity students. Students are expected to have a basic understanding of the format of parliamentary debating (Asian Parliamentary, British Parliamentary or equivalent formats). Students that did not graduate from the beginner’s class may only join this class after an assessment and recommendation by the WoLCE coaching team.

The Intermediate class focuses on building off foundational knowledge of debating, drilling on techniques including multi-tiered argumentation and rebuttal, stakeholder incentives, weighing metrics and clash analysis, logical priority etc.

The class will cover the common debate topics and clashes, while also introducing students to more complex issues including international relations, politics and power, and economics.

From RM500/month, inclusive 4 weekly online classes, 3 hours per session. This class is open to students of all ages. Students that did not graduate from the intermediate class will need to pass a placement test to be accepted into this class.

This class focuses on competitive debating, intensive drills that prepare students to be internationally recognized champions. Students will be exposed to complex ideas, opening their minds to radically different philosophies, build winning cases, and stand their ground against some of the best speakers in the world.
